Our in-depth crypto tutorials are designed to onboard new people and help accelerate the Web3 learning curve. We’ll share our experiences and communicate what has worked well and what hasn’t. Some of the topics we’ll cover include NFTs (Non-fungible tokens), Bitcoin, altcoins, DeFi (Decentralized Finance), SocialFi, hot wallets, cold wallets, AI tools, and much more. For many people, getting started in crypto can seem like an overwhelming endeavor as there is so much to learn. How I Got Started in Crypto
Stouy began with sports trading cards and evolved into all things digital collectables (NFTs), cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology. Like many others, my introduction to the world of cryptocurrency was mainly via NBA Top Shot and Gary Vee. Blockchain technology changed my paradigm from physical to digital assets almost overnight. My focused changed from acquiring sports cards to acquiring digital assets NFTs and Ethereum.
I cut my teeth in the 2021 Crypto bull run which was largely driven by the pandemic. Being a newbie in the Web3 space, I very quickly learned a lot of hard lessons. At the time, there were not a ton of resources that taught the basics of getting started in crypto and NFTs. Simple tutorials like “How to buy ETH on Coinbase and then pull it off the exchange to MetaMask” were difficult to find. Learning about gas fees and failed transactions were eye-opening and expensive lessons. Despite the many frustrations and setbacks, I saw the potential of digital asset ownership which motivated me to keep going and I’m glad I did. Fast forward a couple years and things have become much clearer. As I write this in the fall of 2023, we’re in the middle of a long crypto bear market which has been a blessing in disguise. It’s weeded out many of the bad actors, shit coins, and low effort projects. The crypto winter has also provided time to learn more and build high quality digital asset portfolios for which I’m very grateful.
So you can see, the focus of Stouy has evolved a lot since it’s inception. My mindset shifted from accumulating fiat dollar’s to accumulating Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Sei, Sui, and other altcoins. The main strategy as I see it is to leverage altcoins and ultimately grow your Bitcoin holdings. In order to do that, we must continue to grow our crypto knowledgebase and my hope is you’ll join us in that journey. Crypto offers endless opportunities for those willing to learn.
